September TRAIN

    I did not expect to be an "Investigator" (fives), but the more I read, the more my head nodded in agreement. Certain qualities listed seem unfavorable - "detached. preoccupied, impractical" and I did not want to be associated with those words. This allowed me to have a better understanding on how to process situations and be self-aware. It is comforting knowing I am not alone (pun) when it comes to enjoying being in solitude. I feel as I do thrive more when I am not cluttered with people all the time; however, that does not mean I know when I should "come out". I strongly relate to "independent" and distressed when I believe it is threatened. Nothing is more important to me than being independent. 

    My second personality type (off by 2 points) was nine, "The Peacekeeper". I would have not been surprised if this would have been my primary type. Growing up as the youngest and a rebellious brother, I did my best not to cause problems or draw attention to myself. I tend to avoid confrontations or conflict, unless it is absolutely necessary. I will definitely be incorporating the recommendations for nines.

 Lost in Translation      Glendale Community College became a place of solace. I knew how to navigate the campus: the nearest coffee shop, all the areas where a whiteboard was in close proximity and most importantly the best places to nap or watch Netflix. The time finally came to move on and began the process of applying to ASU. I remember feeling lost, overwhelmed, stressed, excited as well as many other emotions. I constantly felt that I wasn't "ready", although at this point I have been in C.C for 4 years.      I think it's important to continue new experiences and be put in uncomfortable situations. New is not bad and should not deter from applying or continuing something. September 2021

 Media Presence.      My media presence is majorly for entertainment. If you would do a google search of my name you would find several selfies. Those selfies are linked to my Pinterest, and LinkedIn profile. My Pinterest has several boards I predominately created in high school. I luckily (in my opinion), do not have any embarrassing posts from that time. Learning that my future employer can view my board has made me consider to turn those posts private. My LinkedIn is pretty scarce. I have listed my previous employers with no description as well as my education. I also have a Facebook and Instagram. I use those to procrastinate from doing actual homework. I enjoy sending memes/ videos to my friends on Instagram. I have thought of deleting my Facebook, however too much nostalgia is linked to that. November 2021

 Degree      Definetely want to remain in the science field. This semester I have had the opportunity to work in a lab and develop a methodology. At times I believed I botched my experiment, but I was reassured it was a part of the process. Science allows to learn and adapt from errors.      The goal is to work in a lab - prefferably in the the government. I toured the lab of Department of Public Safety and it fueled the spark I had towards forensics. I'm planning to work in a lab for a couple of years before continuing my education. I am not 100% sure in what I want to continue studying; however I have been looking into Pathologist Assistant programs. Louisiana and Pennsylvania are definite contenders.
